Josie graduated from Iowa State University in 2006 with degrees in merchandising/marketing and secondary education. She spent over a decade teaching before joining her husband, Matt, in the financial services business in 2020.
What began as a way to support the growing business quickly became a passion. As Josie learned more about the industry, she discovered she enjoyed helping individuals and families feel more confident about their financial lives. She obtained her licensing in 2021 and now brings a client-first approach grounded in education, clarity, and practical guidance. With her teaching background, Josie excels at breaking down complex topics into simple, actionable steps that empower clients to make informed decisions. Her goal is always to replace confusion with confidence so clients feel in control of their financial future. Josie and Matt have two daughters and three dogs who keep life busy and full of joy. Outside of work, Josie enjoys reading, running, biking, and staying active. She also values giving back to the community through volunteer work and supporting organizations that make a positive impact.
